LEARNING THROUGH PLAY, EVERY DAY
Our educators create opportunities for children to explore, imagine, move, communicate, investigate, and grow every day.
Art materials, open-ended invitations, music, dramatic play, and creative experiences give children opportunities to express their ideas and imagination.
Books, songs, stories, conversations, and shared experiences help children develop language, communication, confidence, and a love of learning.
Loose parts, building materials, puzzles, sensory experiences, and everyday materials invite children to experiment, investigate, work together, and find their own solutions.
Indoor and outdoor play gives children opportunities to move their bodies, challenge themselves, develop physical skills, and experience manageable risk.
Outdoor learning is an important part of our day. Whether we're exploring nature, collecting treasures, gardening, going for a community walk, or simply noticing the changing seasons, children have opportunities to learn from the world around them.
MORE TO EXPLORE
Children learn through real experiences, everyday discoveries, and connections with the world around them. We look for opportunities to bring learning into our community and make the most of what each season has to offer.
Exploring our outdoor spaces, noticing seasonal changes, collecting natural materials, gardening, and discovering the world around us.
Simple experiments, investigations, and hands-on experiences encourage children to ask questions, make predictions, explore how things work, and discover new ideas.
Visits and connections with our local library encourage a love of books, stories, and learning while helping children become familiar with an important part of our community.
Community walks, local experiences, and connections with community organizations help children explore their surroundings and build a sense of belonging.
Music, singing, movement, dramatic play, and creative experiences give children many ways to express themselves and share their ideas.
Special occasions, traditions, seasonal experiences, and celebrations give us opportunities to come together as a community and create meaningful memories.
